Today, Massachusetts transitioned into Phase 2 of its reopening plan. Phase 2 allows for short-term rentals to resume for leisure and recreational purposes. Short-term rentals can be for a minimum of one night. The state has issued industry specific guidance for lodging, including short-term rentals to ensure the safety of guests during ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
Showings and open houses may continue, provided that proper social distancing guidelines are followed. Open houses are limited to no more than 10 persons gathering at one time. Additionally, real estate offices may remain open by following the provided office space guidelines.
